Jacksons
awnings bring a traditional look at an economical price point. This is a high quality product of European design, Canadian made and has a 3 to 4 week lead time. Features include welded seams to minimize water leakage, heavy duty arms with a stainless steel triplex chain that won’t stretch, and brass bushings at the shoulder joints. Combined with a 3 year warranty, this system is built to last! Options include: cassette systems/hoods to completely conceal and protect the fabric when the awning is fully retracted, Valance trim to create a more traditional look and a crank operated “Quick Pitch” control to adjust the pitch of your awning on each end. Fabric options include Sunbrella premium as well as their own “Dickson” brand of solar fabrics.
Corradi USA
offers a full range of awnings from freestanding to standard wall mounted systems in a wide variety of traditional, contemporary, and modern styles. Corradi travels the world to source unique fabrics in vibrant colors, textures and patterns. Using European design and hardware Corradi manufactures this product in the USA which allows them to be competitive in the higher end market while offering the type of quality only available through North American manufacturers. Lead times are typically 5 to 6 weeks. Specialty options include modern enclosures, audio systems, heating elements and lighting attachments.
Where and Why: When considering where to position your awning, considerations must be made with respect to angle of sun, water drainage, proper backing to accommodate system weight as well as drop in height over the entire length of the project, (a rule of thumb is 3″ per foot of projection). Remember, mounting and electrical details vary from application to application, so call us in the early stages of your project to ensure that your installation turns out the way you envisioned.
