Since we relocated back in the spring of 2022, many of our reps & their sales managers tell us that they have never seen a showroom like ours! In a good way!
Our clients often say the same thing. They come in to see one type of product & leave with a sense that we can help them with their entire project, start to finish! AND WE DO!
Our displays include all types of motorized window coverings (shades & drapery), decorative track displays & drapery styles. We showcase all of our outdoor shading systems in one BIG modular display right alongside of a complete home theater set up with TV’s screens & invisible in-wall speakers. A boardroom soundroom with switchable film controlled by voice laminated to our glass entrance. Then to top it off, we have a games room in the back where we demo & test new automation to see if we can break it, but definitely enjoy it!
Its so techy that everything is pretty much voice controlled except the kitchen sink, BUT we are working on that next! 🙂

A Home theater in our Showroom!
What better way to demonstrate premium audio & video options than to build a home theater in our showroom!
This display incorporates a set of invisible “in wall” speakers that are hear but not seen. A Samsung Frame TV centers the wall giving the appearance of a typical living room until the voice commands are given, “Alexa, turn on movie night”. Thats where the fun begins. A motorized projection screen deploys from avove the TV triggering the projector to turn on. The receiver turns on powering up the in-wall speakers and surround sound wwithin the room. A skylight shade deplys above blocking out overhgead lighting while a motorized shade & drapery closes off the rest of the space making for the ideal viewing from 2 motorized reclining theater seats inside.
Our clients say that the experience awakens all sensories, giving them a preview into the future when they can enjoy their own movie night together.
Indoor / Outdoor Shading
Back in 2014 while shading systems went outdoors, so did GiCor. Our first installations transformed the decks & patios of our clients from 2 season to 4 season rooms, a welcoming space for our long Canadian winters.
Since that time, we have added outdoor shading structures, patio enclosures & louvered roof systems. These can be attached to the side of a building or installed as a frestanding structure.
Our awnings & line of security shutters complete the showroom with motorized displays, all integrated & controlled by our Control4 remotes with the added convinience of voice – “Alexa, turn on party”!

And a games / staff party room
This is my favorite room where we lan let loose at the end of a long week.!
We created this room in the corner of our warehouse as a multi-use space where we test new electronics & video components. The room incorporates 5 TVs as well as a motorized drop down screen from the 25 foot roofline above. We installed a turn table where staff can bring in their LPs & spina few while playing pool, ping pong & video games on 2 multi-game machines.
The graffiti was done by Chris Meier, a very talented artist that we were fornunate to meet during the development of this space.
Of course it can be a “catch all” room for client’s furniture pieces waiting to be recovered or larger drapery orders that need to lay flat before installation.
The finishing touch in this room is the structural column in the center of the space which acts as our guest book. Make sure to grab a felt marker & sign when your in next!
