How does a Vertiglide shade work?

Vertiglide shades are made using cellular (aka honeycomb) shades with a slight twist, about 90 degrees to be exact. By turning the cellular profile to run vertically versus a typical horizontal orientation, these shades slide across a horizontal track system to facilitate smooth travel while keeping consistency with adjacent standard cellular shade coverings. This system requires very little stacking space, (under 8” over 14 feet of treatment). The Vertiglide is made from a variety of patterns & colors, including textured fabric and sheer options which can be adjusted to create the perfect balance of light and privacy. They also come with different operating systems, like manual, motorized, or remote-controlled options, depending on the level of convenience that you are looking for.
