Anti-Ligature shades
Essentially they are specialized window treatments designed for environments where safety is a top priority, such as psychiatric facilities, rehabilitation centers, and correctional institutions. Depending on the nature of the project & shade sizes, most standard “cordless” systems will not meet the “anti-ligature requirements.
Although there are several systems available, GiCor uses three suppliers depending on the specific needs of the project.

Bettio Estetika shades
A light to medium duty cordless system, the Bettio Estetika shade is a self contained spring loaded screen & window shade that is well suited for medium security facilities where some user care & restraint exists.
Webblok shades
A true heavy duty cordless shading system, the Webblok shade is designed for high security facilities where client safety is paramount. This is also a spring loaded screen & opaque window shade that is ideal for common areas & dorm rooms.
