Residential fabric panel systems have been used for decades. They are ideal for patio or closet doors, used as a room divider, or simply to control the environment on any elevation of a home. Suitable in any setting that you would find drapery, the number of product options for this style of treatment far exceed ones imagination. Because the panels hang flat and there are no pleats, almost any drapery, upholstery or industrial fabric can be used. Larger fabric patterns can be fully displayed showing the print as it was intended. Most fabrics are simply hemmed at the side, but by adding a binding or trim, lace or woven wood materials can also be used. Screen fabrics are also ideal for this treatment if they are laser cut to avoid fraying along the edges. In addition, the panels are easy to maintain and remove for cleaning or to change décor at a moments notice.
As the operating hardware requires that panels stack behind one another, space must be available somewhere along the travel to accommodate these panels. If not, provisions can be made inside a wall to allow panels to disappear when not in use. Stacking configurations can be: center split, one way draw, or center stack. Panel widths are limited only by the fabric used and stacking space available.
The track systems for this product provide an endless number of options for any situation. Baton-draw systems for basic requirements, cord drawn for wider applications, and even combination baton / hand drawn tracks for more sophisticated systems. Motorized track systems are also available for higher end properties and heavier treatments where operating cords are not suitable.
- Panel widths can be varied, but 24” to 36” are generally recommended
- Continuous track widths up to 20 meters
- Note: The appearance of some patterns may be altered due to the overlap required between fabric panels
