Faux Wood blinds offer the distinctive and natural appearance of wood slats, but with an economic price tag. Faux wood slats are typically made from a blend of North American hardwood and advanced composite materials with smooth or textured slats for an authentic likeness to wood. All manufacturers use slightly different formulas and processes to produce the slats, but the finished product is hard to distinguish from one to the next. Head-rail specifications and optional features are similar to real wood blinds with the exception of color range in both stains and solid finishes. This revolutionary product offers exceptional performance in areas of high humidity a well as West and Southern exposure to sun-light.
