A revolutionary product
developed by Hunter Douglas, the “Luminette” offers
privacy and light control by combining the softness
of a sheer drapery fabric with the versatility and function
of a vertical blind. When in the open position, soft
fabric sheers diffuse the light. With the simple movement
of the combination wand and cord control, you can rotate
the integrated louvers and enjoy any level of illumination
that you desire. Room darkening can be achieved with
the patented “Evening Star” backing on some fabrics.
Along with the innovation of the fabric component of
this product, the operating system is also nothing less
than brilliant. The patented “SofTrak” scissor head
rail system assures a uniform appearance and easy, reliable
operation for windows up to 192” in width. Also, unlike
typical vertical blind systems, the five-inch tailored
fabric header conceals all operating hardware resulting
in a softer, cleaner look across the top of the sheers.
Currently there are 5 sheer styles available in numerous
classic colors. All fabric louvers are neutral ensuring
that no matter the sheer color selected, a uniform appearance
is presented from the outside.
