Woven Wood Shades

It’s nature at its finest, where traditional styling meets the versatility of natural wood materials. They make quite a statement when you consider that each shade is unique with its color variations, imperfections in grain textures, knots, and small cracks. Picture a rustic-style kitchen, an elegant living room or a contemporary dining room. Now imagine these rooms with windows covered by shades in a variety of reeds, bamboos, and grasses. One product made to provide privacy while letting light through and leaving the outside view for all to see. Another designed for room darkening with an optional lining attached for complete blackout. Faux wood materials are also available and typically used where a more economical product is required. The fact that these composite materials are more uniform and available in a wider range of colors is an added bonus.

The woven woods of today are nothing like that of the 70’s. No yarns turning to pink from the sun. No more front roll-up styling with visible cords and locks. Now manufactured using the latest hardware technology, these shades are available with sleek low profile head rails, top down / bottom up features, clutch controls for heavier shades, and head rails with integrated valances. Enjoy the tailored look of the shades as they hang flat in the lowered position or the sleek lines of the overlapped folds when raised.
