Designer Banded Shades

An inspired hybrid of fabric shades and horizontal blinds, these layered shades offer the ultimate flexibility in light control. This elegant shade is made using one continuous fabric that combines a soft light filtering voile sheer with a semi opaque or privacy fabric in an alternating fashion. When lowered, the sheer louvers can be aligned to give a soft muted view throughout the room. Re-adjust the louvers in a staggered position to form a solid fabric providing complete privacy without total darkness. When fully raised the shade disappears inside the head rail which features a built-in valance which can either be painted to match the base fabric or fabric wrapped using the solid fabric depending on the manufacturer.

Motorization is also available in battery & low voltage systems as well as a solar powered option and can be controlled from wall switches or remotes, sun sensors and timers, touch panels and smart phones or other android devices. Can also be integrated with home automation or third party control systems.
