Cubicle Curtains

Cubicle curtains are the perfect solution for creating separate and private work areas within a space. Every area and every application is unique, which is why we specialize in custom designing curtain dividers that are specific to your needs. Our wide selection of fabrics include a variety of styles, patterns & colours to suit any décor. Anti-microbial and fire resistant curtains are also available for spaces that require additional protection. Mesh can also be added to the top section to facilitate better access to lighting from adjacent cubicles. Track systems include ceiling mounted, suspended as well as side mounted. Most tracks can be bent onsite however some track systems must be special ordered to accommodate more specific track layouts.

Privacy Cubicle Curtain Height:

The combination of a ceiling mounted privacy cubicle track and the carriers which hang from the track create a drop of approximately 3 inches between the ceiling and the top of the privacy cubicle curtain. Usually, customers opt to leave a gap of between 9 and 15 inches between the bottom of the curtain and the floor. Therefore, a good rule of thumb is to subtract 12 to 18 inches from your ceiling height to get your curtain height. Customers may also opt for curtains that reach the floor however a minimum of 2” clearance should be used at all times. Fabric width may help to determine a finished length in the end.

Privacy Cubicle Curtain Width

Your privacy cubicle curtain should be at least 10% wider than the track length itself. This extra fullness allows the curtains to provide the coverage needed without fighting to keep the ends closed, since there is always a ripple or wave in the curtain even when they are drawn closed (they never remain taut when closed).

Drop Chains

For higher ceilings where it may not be feasible for floor to ceiling curtains, or as an alternative to suspended tracks or adding mesh to the top of the curtains, a beaded chain drop may be added to the track carrier to extend the drop of the curtain. These allow a track to be ceiling mounted while suspending a curtain of lesser height. The image below exhibits just such an application.
